A question about my lobby

What should I add? I feel like the rainbow background doesn’t fit the DLD vibe in-game… but I like it, so what do y’all think?

It’s just a box
Give the players something to do.
Like a tiny obby

and its empty, add more decoration
the background looks :fire: tho

give us screenshots of the actual game, so we can decide on a theme

Doesn’t look too bad,
but I see your concern of it not fitting.

I’d say what you can do is…

  1. Change to the grey brick terrain, since the start uses it.
  2. Replace that beautiful rainbow with props/item images that were used in the levels

Edit: Riff you’ve been typing for half an hour, STOP MAKING ME WAIT

Its not to bad but players might be bored waiting for the host to start so at least make something for them to play in like a obby or or something but for the theme I say make it a little like the main game so it matches in better or add some of the how to play.

like some stuff to jump on, or a game guide like the game modes have. also some teleporters that lead to a credits room and a game log.

also PINK TREES ooooh aaaaaah pretttyyy

Here are my advises,

Remember, it’s all about the height and details

1. Maybe Change the Background Layers?
make sure it’s black or white.

2. Adding Details
(If you still want to keep the rainbow background, then,) just a rainbow background? Kinda too flat. Add clouds or maybe weather effects and add an earthly ground like grass and dirt. To make the waiting room better.

3. Maybe add a lounge Area
Where the tables and chairs are. Make it a little fancy tho. (IS RECOMMEND.)

Hope that helps to change your vibe!

Also, don’t ask if I’m using AI. A lot of people are asking me that, and basically, I never, or don’t use it. Thank you.

I think you should add this fun mini obby like @Zappy_Zaptos mentioned. If you do decide to add a mini obby, it should be a mini version of the actual obby, giving the players a hint of what the’re going to experience.

other then add a obby like @Zappy_Zaptos said, you could also add a credits page or give a simplified description of the game (third screenshot) in the lobby to tell players what they will be playing

Background is great!

It looks great! (I wish I was good enough to do that) The only thing I recommend Is platforms in the sky that you can jump on (Not necessarily an obby, but just something to jump around on)
