5 Useful Things You Probably Didn't Know In Gimkit creative

Your correct i think. its so you cant have an inf amount of channels connected to one device.

For #1, couldn’t the jump be bigger? If you fall onto the edge of the terrain, which boosts you, you can jump further. You use it at the start of DLD. (I think it’s called a coyote jump or smth like that).

Btw

I’ve changed the title to say 6 instead of 4 cause.. well… there’s 6 not 4.

Wouldn’t that technically be you touching the ground, so it isn’t full jump distance?

I don’t understand. The coyote jump makes you go faster, so you jump further. That was my point.

yeah, basically platformer games often count you as still on the ground and able to jump for 3 frames after your off the ground to make it more fair, since sometimes you might lag and it just eats your input.

the coyote jump does not make you go faster, you just start the jump at a different point, which is off the ground. so technically the distance is still correct.

Is the coyote jump the frame perfect where if you land on the ground, you can still jump?

yeah, so you’re landing either way. the longest continuous double jump you can, well, jump (based on current information) is what Momo has provided us with.

The fifth one isn’t really a tip, so shouldn’t it be five???

You shouldn’t change the title without the OP’s permission.

It’s okay, it’s just common courtesy. Leave it, since you already did and if Mono wants to change it back they can.

no it’s not possible, only if you use some kind of speed bugs

well… there are only 5 facts here, since fact number 5 is not finished, and I’m too lazy to do it because of studying, I’ll do it later, but for now there are 5 facts.

bro whitejack, dont ever call me momo again :sob:

yup, your right

yes he really shouldn’t have changed the names without my permission. but on the other hand he corrected my mistake which I made and forgot to change (even though he made 6 and not 5 haha)

after further discussion and review, I have come to the conclusion that i will disregard this statement and continue calling you momo (aka: no lol)

and if you were to use a coyote jump, it would eliminate the entire point of the fact on how far a gim can double jump, not coyote jump.

Hi! Nice Guide!
I found one thing in the GKC Changelog that might be interesting enough to add (it is under the December 10th, 2024 update)

  • Editor Improvement: Shift Click
    • When editing and on the main screen (not adding/resizing/removing), you can now hold shift and then click anywhere to teleport there!
    • This is super helpful for quickly traversing to an area of the map you want to visit

Hope this helped

Thank you!

Most people already know about this, my guide was created for such facts that few people know about, I really appreciate the efforts, but as I have already said, many people know about this, and also for some reason it seems to me that this is already in some guides.

also josh made an update about this on the forum so i don’t think i need this fact in the guide. but again, thank you!

@colton, please DO NOT edit my guide without my consent.

this applies to absolutely everyone except TL3 and higher in terms of trust level

Actually they have, you just didn’t read all the replies.

they said earlier that someone shouldn’t have changed the guides name without their permission, which counts as editing the guide. and even if they didn’t, you still shouldn’t edit a guide without asking first, its like the golden rule of GKCF wiki’s

It’s also common courtesy.

if not already done, I suggest you edit that into your guide, or a reminder to ask before editing, Momo.
