Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-21 14:39:50 UTC | #1 Follow up question on my last post, what the frick is going on here lol: ![Screenshot 2024-05-20 at 9.48.32 AM|662x424](upload://s8QecybruBZSfHL9m0mB8lCWTK0.png) ------------------------- ClicClac | 2024-05-20 16:49:15 UTC | #2 The question mark emojis aren't supported by your computer. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-20 16:52:11 UTC | #3 I only used 6 different emojis :red_square: :orange_square: :yellow_square: :green_square: :blue_square: :white_large_square: and only the red one should be showing right now. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-20 17:20:23 UTC | #4 bump ------------------------- GimGuy | 2024-05-20 17:40:17 UTC | #5 Well, did you switch computers. The difference in emojis for different computers could have other images. If you switched computers, or chromebooks or whatever, just wait and switch back. I think it's just a sort of texture thing, not a bug. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-20 17:43:38 UTC | #6 No I didn't. I set a separate text to the same thing and it worked on there, but the second I try to break the string into pieces it gives me the error. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-21 01:26:47 UTC | #7 Can nobody help me? I can give pictures of the code blocks if you need them. bump. ------------------------- GlM | 2024-05-21 01:30:03 UTC | #8 You probably should edit those bumps out because it hasn't nearly been 5 days, and this isn't a guide so it causes clutter ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-21 02:11:14 UTC | #9 Um ok. My problem hasn't been fixed yet, thats all I'm saying. Also I changed the block code so the text looks like this now: ![Screenshot 2024-05-20 at 8.10.33 PM|362x404](upload://3otx6cVrPul7qEu7mBhB5UbTmOn.png) ------------------------- SUS1 | 2024-05-21 02:26:50 UTC | #10 dis is my 100th post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ------------------------- Zane7655 | 2024-05-21 12:28:46 UTC | #11 First thing I usually do when encountering bugs like this is clear my cache on my browser. Usually works but I don't know if it would fix this ------------------------- Zane7655 | 2024-05-21 13:17:42 UTC | #13 figured ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 02:41:24 UTC | #14 I did some more testing and found another bug where the trigger used for setting the text is activated twice for some reason which doubles the length of the text. I don't know if it's that big of a deal though, but I'll keep testing to find out. Yeah after further testing I've found that this is going to be a problem. I'll post block code in a second [details="Setup"] ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 7.57.44 AM|690x389](upload://vSQK8O426G1NqVv5cTgD19c631Y.jpeg) [/details] [details="Trigger 1"] ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 7.58.17 AM|322x500](upload://kGkVH9CGv778pJioDlIQVlWjn14.jpeg) ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 7.58.30 AM|686x206](upload://mxcprDilkTWrB1mrVKnVyWLhQKo.png) [/details] [details="Trigger 2"] ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 7.58.55 AM|329x500](upload://mNhMvOV8qcT8DCCXTpO5gPwD3fq.jpeg) ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 7.59.32 AM|690x431](upload://e6zi0Z1o9alC7i6WjaucSpqyjtM.jpeg) ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 7.59.53 AM|690x123](upload://2R6eLH0CjFDT6I4aXSovV4eFG5B.png) ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 8.00.47 AM|690x47](upload://84BqtJzp5m2Gz7ZJp5O7gjPPeNa.png) [/details] [details="Checker"] ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 8.01.51 AM|416x500](upload://1916JuSbC8x7kwsToRo3uv4P9hT.jpeg) ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 8.02.09 AM|398x500](upload://bREpyV9HJVmNTu9Kg5II8ohDZXe.jpeg) [/details] [details="Counter"] ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 8.02.51 AM|690x443](upload://mPtV6n0DM7h4dgoBST7lXg07Hty.png) [/details] If you think you can help and need the properties as well, I can give you the settings and values and how I set them. It has been, drum role please... :drum: :drum: :drum: [spoiler]**13 hours and no help!** [/spoiler] ------------------------- EggNoodle | 2024-05-22 02:45:56 UTC | #15 The probable solution has already been posted in the second post. It's a bug on your end. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 02:47:55 UTC | #16 **Nope.** I don't think so, otherwise I would have marked a solution. ------------------------- EggNoodle | 2024-05-22 02:48:35 UTC | #17 Then don't complain "it's been 13 hours and no help". ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 02:52:23 UTC | #18 Not until someone helps lol ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 03:21:17 UTC | #19 I can't really tell if this is a glitch on my end, or with gimkits code. I changed the code again, and it's still not working. [spoiler]Help me test this. Tell me if you see the question marks too [padlet](https://padlet.com/LeoTheLion/gimkit-codes-qgsrqviw8pefo2me)[/spoiler] I also fixed the issue where it runs multiple times. ------------------------- Kosm0-o | 2024-05-22 03:24:57 UTC | #20 I guess I can try to help. I'll make it on my side and see what happens... ^[not stealing your idea jsyk :D] Also, for your pics, there is an external value visual from blocks. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 03:29:11 UTC | #21 Here's a picture of the most recent version: ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 9.26.57 PM|396x386](upload://h1R4N5fxJKOAYkMRF2FDJuazyu5.png) But **I** think it's an issue with the block code because I set a normal text to just the property and the result is normal: ![Screenshot 2024-05-21 at 9.27.18 PM|690x103](upload://xTvXRS9fl61eeI7ZKzuis3bCKKY.png) ------------------------- Kosm0-o | 2024-05-22 03:33:16 UTC | #22 could you show me the Rubik's cube property? ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 13:52:57 UTC | #23 Rubiks cube: 111111111222222222333333333444444444555555555666666666 text string. This might be the reason for your issues. It is certainly a pain to deal with whenever anyone tries to do literally anything text-display related lol. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 15:12:26 UTC | #26 The cube position is changing a lot. Currently it's set to 0 at the start as a number. The cube display text is set in the code. The cube display letter # is set in the counter. @Blackhole927 thanks for the info, I might be able to change the code now that I know that, it will just take a bit more memory. ------------------------- Fulcrum-19 | 2024-05-22 21:06:07 UTC | #27 Hey how did you get the little ... thing? (tried to send a private message but it made a whole topic for some reason :skull:) ![Screenshot 2024-05-22 at 2.59.14 PM|690x161](upload://ur1Du0Juwl2Q4h5oXtotvvbGB35.png) ------------------------- Kosm0-o | 2024-05-22 21:25:26 UTC | #28 personal messages sadly dont work anymore... to do the 3 dots do this: ^ [stuff] <-- make sure to not put a space between ^ and [ also if you want to know markdown and html tags that work for posts just go into the raw of the topic. for example the raw of this topics is: https://forum.creative.gimkit.com/raw/56368 For getting the raw all you need to do is exchange raw for them /t/ and the topic name. If you want to see a specific post in the raw, add the post number after the topic id like this: 56368/28 ------------------------- Little | 2024-05-22 21:34:45 UTC | #29 ^[Yay I think i did it]^[ -------------------------
