Btw i'm getting spam flagged rn so sorry if you can't see this ------------------------- CommanderGOAT | 2026-02-27 12:48:22 UTC | #6 Uhh, maybe make the map, then use an overlay that activates a camera point that’s at the map. Some_kid when are you gonna release your game I wanna play it :3 ------------------------- Legacy | 2026-02-27 12:48:46 UTC | #7
Btw i’m getting spam flagged rn so sorry if you can’t see this
Incase if its flagged, here is the raw version. [forum.creative.gimkit.com/raw/199396](https://forum.creative.gimkit.com/raw/199396) ------------------------- THE_LEGEND | 2026-02-27 12:50:12 UTC | #8 Sorry I still don't get it, can you explain in more detail? ------------------------- Kormorant | 2026-02-27 12:50:19 UTC | #9 And then it deactivates it when the player presses the button to leave the map? ------------------------- some_kid | 2026-02-27 12:52:13 UTC | #10 I'd probably deactivate the overlay, and then activate a different overlay that deactivates the camera point. [details="Scarflet Fever"] I'm hoping to get it out before the end of this month. [/details] ------------------------- Kormorant | 2026-02-27 13:17:06 UTC | #11 I need either @CommanderGOAT or @some_kid to answer me with the full solution so I can mark a solution. ------------------------- some_kid | 2026-02-27 12:58:22 UTC | #12 Make a little area with a map, and place a camera point in the middle. Then, place down a button overlay that broadcasts on `goToMap`. The overlay should deactivate when recieving on `goToMap` and activate when recieving on `leaveMap`, and should have a player active scope. Copy the game overlay, and change the text to indicate the button makes you leave the map. It should broadcast on `leaveMap`, deactivate when recieving on `leaveMap`, and activate when recieving on `goToMap`. The camera point should activate when recieving on `goToMap` and deactivate when receiving on `leaveMap`. ------------------------- some_kid | 2026-02-27 12:59:19 UTC | #14 You can't use a teleporter because you wouldn't be able to move the player back to the place they were before. ------------------------- THE_LEGEND | 2026-02-27 13:00:52 UTC | #15 Ok, I messed up. ------------------------- system | 2026-02-27 16:01:46 UTC | #16 This topic was automatically closed 3 hours after the last reply.
